JERSEY CITY, N.J. & ATHENS, Ga.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Imperial Dade, a leading North American distributor of foodservice packaging supplies, industrial products, and janitorial supplies, today announced the acquisition of Athens Janitor Supply Company, Inc. and Chittom Industries, Inc. (collectively “AJS” or the “Company”). The transaction represents the 97^th acquisition for Imperial Dade under the leadership of Robert and Jason Tillis, Chairman and CEO of Imperial Dade, respectively. Financial terms of the private transaction were not disclosed.

The Company was purchased in 1979 by Jim Chittom Sr., who along with his sons John and Jim Jr. are dedicated to consistently delivering exceptional service and products which not only meet but exceed customer expectations, all while maintaining core values of honesty, transparency, and meeting the customer’s needs before all else. The Company has three locations in Athens, Rome and Augusta, GA, and has established an outstanding reputation in the market, driven by the same unwavering commitment to customer service that guided its founding.
