BOCA RATON, Fla.--()--Palm Peak Capital (“Palm Peak”), a private equity firm that invests in lower-middle market industrial and services companies across North America, today announced that it has completed its first platform investment with the acquisition of Pacific Shoring Products, LLC (“Pacific Shoring” or “the Company”), a leading manufacturer of trench safety equipment. Terms of the private transaction are not disclosed.

Founded in 2005 and headquartered in Santa Rosa, California, Pacific Shoring is a leader in a regulatory-driven niche, manufacturing trench safety products used by contractors to protect their workforce when working in trenches for infrastructure projects including water utility pipes, telecom fiber, gas & electric, and other underground building or maintenance jobs. Pacific Shoring’s products are sold at ~280 dealer locations across North America, Australia, and Europe to large, high quality equipment rental companies.

The U.S. trench shoring market has seen robust growth in recent years and is expected to continue, driven by consistent demand from new projects, infrastructure maintenance and upgrades, and increased adoption of trench shoring products due to OSHA safety compliance and other favorable regulatory trends.
